Cheder Menachem Girls School is seeking an enthusiastic First Grade Assistant Teacher to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Reinforce lessons taught by the teacher by reviewing material with students one-on-one or in small groups.
- Grade homework or assignments (as directed).
- Assist with filing, organizing materials, and maintaining classroom records.
- Attend faculty meetings and professional development sessions.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and respectful classroom environment.
- Ensure student safety and manage behavior during instructional and non-instructional times (e.g., recess, lunch, arrival/dismissal).
Qualifications:
- Proven experience assisting in a first grade classroom or a similar age group.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
